SPECIAL REMINDERS

• Students entering 7th grade are required by the State to have the following immunizations:  Tdap, Menningitis and second dose of Varicella.
• Please notify your school nurse if your child takes medication at home.
• Please notify your school nurse if your child has any allergies.
• Do not send your child to school if they are ill.
• If your child takes medication, it needs to be in the correct bottle with the correct labels and written permission from a parent or guardian.
• If your child is ill and misses a school day, please notify the school nurse or office with the reason they are not present. (We send reports to the Department of Health weekly on absences related to illness and type of illness)
• Regular checkups with your doctor are an important part of the growth and development of your child.

We are now in the peak of the Flu season, and I would like to remind you to wash, wash, wash those hands, cover your cough and sneeze in your sleeve.  If you run fever, have a sore throat, headache, cough and aching muscles you need to see your doctor .  You may have the Flu.
